Israel’s public registry
Listings are built from publicly available records of registered Israeli nonprofit associations (amutot) and matched to the official Registrar of Associations and GuideStar Israel — the same public record the State maintains.
- Cross-checked against the official registry for legal status and registration number.
- Reporting history and §46 status surfaced where the public record provides them.
- Refreshed against the source so the directory stays close to current.

Is GlassPockets really free?
For donors, always — no accounts, no ads, no paywall. (Nonprofits can optionally subscribe to manage and enrich their own profile, but every registered nonprofit is listed free and equal.)
Does “Verified” mean the charity is endorsed?
No. “Verified” means we cross-checked the organization against Israel’s registry. It is a fact we checked — not an endorsement, and not a guarantee of how any charity spends its funds. Always do your own due diligence.
Is §46 the same as US tax-deductible?
No. §46 refers to tax-deductibility under the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance, in Israel only. It is not the same as US (IRS 501(c)(3)) deductibility. US donors should confirm US tax-deductibility independently.
Do you take a cut of my donation?
Never. We will not skim your gift. Today you give on the nonprofit’s own website, so your gift goes directly to them and we never see it. When in-app giving launches, 100% of your intended donation will still go to the cause — with an optional, clearly shown choice to cover the processing fee.
Is in-app giving live yet?
Not yet — it’s in development. Today GlassPockets helps you discover and verify nonprofits, and you give on each organization’s own site. In-app giving, recurring gifts, and a follow-feed are on the roadmap.
Do you track me?
No. There are no accounts, no login, no analytics, and no trackers. Your favorites are stored only on your device. The app makes a single secure request to download the public directory — nothing personal ever leaves your phone. See our Privacy Policy.
