Where the records come from
GlassPockets compiles public information about Israeli nonprofit associations (amutot) from sources including the Registrar of Associations, data.gov.il, the Israel Tax Authority’s §46 list, and GuideStar Israel.
What the directory does not mean
GlassPockets is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any nonprofit, GuideStar Israel, the Registrar of Associations, or the State of Israel. We organize public information; we do not speak for the organizations or the sources.
Reading the badge
Verified Nonprofit
Cross-checked against public Israeli registry data
A Verified badge means the listing was matched to public registry records and the displayed indicators were found in that record at the time of the data snapshot.
Example · public registry snapshot
The badge is not an audit or endorsement. It does not assess impact, governance, financial health, or how an organization uses funds. Public records can be incomplete or out of date, so verify important information independently.
A note on tax-deductibility. §46 refers to deductibility under the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance. It is not the same as US (IRS 501(c)(3)) deductibility. Confirm the rules that apply to you with a qualified adviser.
